Common Injuries and Conditions
Plantar Fasciitis:
Plantar fasciitis is a common stress and over use injury in which there are minor tears in the fascia where it connects to the calcaneus,  Plantar fasciitis is usually aquired by, but not limited to,  athletes and athletic activites.  Many warehouse workers as well as people with desk jobs can get a touch of plantar fasciitis.

Common methods of treatment include icing, rest and proper foot orthosis.


Achilles Tendonitis:
Achilles tendonitis is pain where the achilles connects to the top of the cancaneus.  Common causes of achilles tendonits could be a shoe without an achilles notch, excessive pronation as well as a short heel cord.

Common methods of treatment are shoes with an achilles notch, heel lift, or foot orthosis with heel lift.

Metatarsalgia:
Metatarsalgia is usually described as pain in the ball of the foot.  There could be many reasons for metatarsalgia.

Common methods of treatment are the use of a metatarsal pad, perhaps with an orthosis.
